In Roman times, Cefalicchio was on an important stopping-place
through the countryside of Canosa on the Via Traiana; the
farmhouse was constructed in 1700 and at the end of the nineteenth
century the Rossi family transformed it into their private
residence.
Currently, hilly vistas surround approximately 80 hectares
of olive trees and grape vines that create a typically Mediterranean
feel; wine and olive oil have been biodynamically certified
since 1992 and are processed in the cellar and mill located
on the estate.
The site comprises a restaurant, Spa and Country House, a
4-star hotel that welcomes guests in an atmosphere that is
at once both warm and friendly, informal yet well-cared for.
Located just a few kilometers from Andria, Barletta, Trani,
Canosa and Minervino, in a unique gastronomic region between
Murgia, Basilicata and Gargano, Cefalicchio has an outdoor
swimming pool, private parking and a meeting room able to
accommodate up to 60 people.
A century old park and a horse riding centre complete the
prestigious estate of Cefalicchio.
